The day begins with an introduction to the artist's work and to the roles of dolls in the traditions and folklore of various cultures. Students select doll bodies and items to tell their stories. Adult helpers operate glue guns and assist in basic sewing skills, threading needles, etc. Students finish by sharing stories about their experiences.
